From Owner, Jacob Carr
Jacob’s Ladder began in December 2016, though my painting journey started back in high school. Growing up, I worked alongside my father, a skilled carpenter, learning various trades. This hands-on experience led me to a part-time painting job in college, where I refined my skills.
After graduating in 2015 with a pre-counseling degree, I moved to Omaha to marry my wife, Cristina, a Nebraska native. I continued painting on weekends to stay sharp and earn extra income. Seeing a strong demand for quality painting in Omaha, I took Jacob’s Ladder full-time in October 2020.
With years of experience, I understand the value of craftsmanship, communication, and customer service, principles that guide our work at Jacob’s Ladder. Business boomed in 2021, prompting us to grow our team to meet demand. We hired five employees in 2021 and added another in 2022, all committed to integrity and excellence.
Cristina and I live in Omaha with our three boys, enjoying family adventures, sports, and local fun.

Jay was the first addition to the team, he has 8 years of painting experience in the field. Jay is blessed with a beautiful wife and child. His favorite aspect of painting is taping clean lines on trim

Cristina leads the charge in sharing the word that Jacob's Ladder provides the best painting experience. Her favorite task is creating fun before and after photos and videos of projects.
